In a world full of chaos, it is essential to let optimism prevail. By doing so, you will not let negativity foster.

Consider this one fascinating story of a seven-week pup, named Layla. Beaumont Animal Care in Texas luckily found her on a highway, at the risk of being hit by a car.

When she came to the animal clinic, veterinarian Rachel Barron saw how stressed Layla was. She wanted to do anything to comfort her.

Rachel gently coaxed the distressed puppy with all her heart. Amazingly, Layla showed off an adorable smile! Luckily enough, the vet had her phone in hand to take a video of that encounter. Here’s the video:

UPDATE! Adopted! If this doesn’t brighten up your Monday blues, idk what will. This little girl is so happy. But what would make her smile even bigger? A forever home 💕 Her system number is #36409(This video is being represented by LADbible Group. To use or license this video please email

Rachel’s Facebook video went viral immediately. Eventually, applications for Layla’s adoption came pouring in.

The chosen adopters were Nicole and Matthew Toney. They couldn’t get over their fascination for the adorable puppy that they adopted her overnight.

The couple had three other dogs, Lady, Sadie, and Brutus. When Layla arrived home, the couple had to introduce one another one by one. At first, Layla had no problems with Lady.

However, she had problems with Sadie and Brutus because they acted like she doesn’t exist at all. Though after some time, both dogs warmed up to her and started bonding together.

“I could [just] tell when we picked her up that she would fit in perfectly. It was meant to be,” Nicole describes their current situation.

Layla became the most playful dog in the house. She takes all of Lady’s toys, she runs around the house, goes up and down the stairs, and loves playing with them. Here’s what Layla looks like now:

She’s all big and grown, yet she’s still smiling.

Layla’s adorable smile is an indication that good things come to those who practice optimism. Spread positivity and be like the resilient Layla!
