A dog’s love for humans is immeasurable and incomparable. They risk their lives to save people. This story is about Zena, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier who went the extra mile to rescue three children from a poisonous snake.
One afternoon, siblings Brendan, Jared, and Sarah were playing inside their room. Little did they know that a tiger snake already entered their house through a screen door. Their mother Patricia witnessed how the snake got in, and the three kids panicked upon seeing it. They all screamed and very scared!
A few seconds after, Zena suddenly appeared in the room and immediately seized the neck of the snake fearlessly! She also knows how to make the snake grow weak– by snapping its spine! It’s such a heroic act of Zena, going the extra mile to save her family from danger. Patricia tries to convince Zena to let go of the snake, but this brave dog wouldn’t drop it.
While Zena’s still conquering the snake, Steven, the dad of the family, arrived just in time! Since Patricia can’t persuade Zena to let the snake go, it’s Steven who convinced the four-legged hero to release the tiger snake.
According to research, dogs possess true bravery. They can sense danger, and they can put themselves in an unsafe situation even if it means they can get hurt in the process.
Dogs also have a “pack mentality,” and they consider their human family as part of their unit. This mentality is the reason why dogs have a unique bond with humans– they have this emotional attachment to their owners; that’s why they love and protect their owners, regardless of the cost. Dogs are true heroes, and they don’t need to wear a cape to prove it!
